Full job descriptionChildcare Skills Coach | Remote / Field-Based (National) | £30,000–£34,000 | Permanent
A well-established apprenticeship provider is looking for a Childcare Skills Coach to join their delivery team on a permanent basis. You’ll be working with learners across childcare apprenticeship standards — managing a caseload, conducting workplace visits, and supporting progression through to EPA. Blended delivery model with a mix of remote coaching and face-to-face visits.
The role:
*Deliver teaching and learning sessions across childcare apprenticeship standards, covering the required knowledge, skills and behaviours
*Conduct regular workplace visits and progress reviews, ensuring learners hit milestones and are EPA-ready
*Support learners with Functional Skills (English, Maths, ICT) up to Level 2 where required
*Coach learners to build their portfolio evidence throughout their programme
*Engage with employers and line managers to support learner progress and retention
*Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners, maintaining quality and compliance throughout
We’re looking for:
*Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent relevant occupational qualification
*D32/D33, TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award, CAVA, or equivalent — or actively working towards it
*Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths
*Proven experience delivering and assessing apprenticeship programmes in a work-based setting
*Familiarity with EPA processes and government-funded training frameworks
What’s on offer:
*£30,000–£34,000 salary depending on experience
*35 days total leave (25 days + bank holidays + birthday day off + Christmas shopping day)
*Early finish on the second Friday of each month
