Full job descriptionFull-Time SEMH Teacher (1-Year Contract) in CamdenAre you an experienced SEMH Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable young people?SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting for a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a highly supportive and well-resourced SEN provision in Camden. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with pupils across KS1-KS3 who require specialist support for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning needs.
The school champions trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, and a child-centred curriculum designed to help every pupil thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners.
*Implement effective behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
*Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
*Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, EHCP coordinators and external agencies.
*Support pupils in achieving their EHCP outcomes.
*Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
*Experience within SEMH, SEN or PRU settings.
*Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
*Calm, resilient and consistent approach.
*Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
*Based in Camden, or locally
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: 1 Year (with potential extension or permanent opportunity)
