The Job You’ll Do;
*Design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects
*Design and manufacture of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
*Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate project cost estimates and schedules.
*Develop and review CAD designs and schematics for electrical systems, ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements.
*Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure designs are translated effectively into final products.
*Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
*Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
*Ensure quality assurance and control standards are met at all stages of the project lifecycle.
*Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the engineering team
*Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring all expectations are met or exceeded.
*Drive continuous improvement within the electrical engineering processes and team.
*Oversee electrical projects from design through to installation and commissioning
*Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
About You;
*HNC or above in an Electrical discipline is essential.
*Proven experience (2+ years) in Electrical Engineering or similar
*Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar)
*Understanding of BS7671 wiring regulations, BS EN 61439 and IEC standards
*Strong understanding of electrical schematics
*Excellent problem-solving skills
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
