Administrative & Legal Support Assistant (12-Month FTC) | US Law Firm | Hybrid


We’re proud to be partnering with a well-established international law firm with a strong London presence. They are looking to hire a dynamic Administrative & Legal Support Assistant on a 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract to cover maternity leave.


This opportunity offers a diverse mix of responsibilities, combining office coordination, legal support, and front-of-house duties in a busy and professional setting.


What does this role offer:
*Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (possible flex for 3/2 the right person)
*Central London office location

Key Responsibilities:
*Delivering day-to-day administrative assistance to team members
*Overseeing general office coordination
*Supporting workplace compliance processes, including health and safety activities
*Acting as a key contact for travel bookings and accommodation arrangements
*Reception duties and welcoming visitors when required
*Helping organise internal functions and client-facing events
*Managing relationships with office service providers and ensuring smooth operations
*Assisting with research and project tasks
*Providing cover for secretarial duties during team absences or peak workloads
*Supporting with system administration


What we’re looking for:
*Around 2+ years’ experience in an administration, secretarial or operational role within a law firm or professional services environment
*Confident user of Microsoft Office
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent organisational ability with a keen eye for detail
*Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
*A proactive, flexible mindset with a willingness to support across multiple areas
*Professional and approachable, with the ability to build strong working relationships
