Workshop experience essential.

Teacher of Design & Technology
Secondary academy seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology to join its successful Technology department.
This role would suit educators with expertise in Wood Technology, 3D Design, Food Technology, or Art.
Responsibilities include:
*Delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Promoting excellent workshop practice and health and safety standards.
*Planning and assessing high-quality learning experiences.
*Supporting extracurricular enrichment activities where appropriate.
*Working closely with colleagues to drive curriculum development.
Applicants should have:
*Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience.
*Strong workshop experience and knowledge of machinery and tools.
*The ability to teach practical elements confidently.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
