We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger professional available for an immediate start.
The role:
*Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process for vendor invoices
*Carry out invoice verification and matching against purchase orders and receipts
*Process payments in line with internal controls and handle expenses and reimbursements
*Post accruals, clear unmatched invoices and reconcile vendor statements
*Support month-end close activities relating to accounts payable
About you:
*Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
*Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
*Experience with ERP or finance systems is desirable
*Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
*A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
