As a strategic recruitment partner to ESCO Maritime, i am seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join the team based in Rugeley. This is an ideal role for professionals experienced in manufacturing and passionate about high-integrity, power-dense electronics.
You will be working within a small, agile team on complex and dynamic projects that push the boundaries of electronic design.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as an Senior Electronics Design Engineer?
*Designing and analysing electronic circuits
*Capturing schematics and providing PCB layout guidance
*Selecting and reviewing electronic components
*Supporting engineering projects through varied tasks
*Engaging in technical meetings and customer interfaces
*Documenting work in line with internal procedures
*Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What are we looking for in our next Senior Electronics Design Engineer?
*HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
*Have a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and analogue/digital design
*Experience in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and wiring definitions
*Familiarity with PCB layout oversight
*Knowledge of EMC and environmental qualification processes
*Experience using Altium Designer
