Full job descriptionJMF Associates is partnering with a multi-site retailer that is looking for a Management Accountant with experience in accountancy practice to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, and working in a small finance team, the Management Accountant will:
*Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reporting
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations
*Accurals, prepayments, and posting journals
*Engage with auditors during the annual audit
*Act as a business partner to key non-finance stakeholders
This role will suit a candidate who is:
*Accountancy practice trained, but also has worked in commerce
*Possesses at least 5 years of management accounting experience
*Experienced in working with companies that are stock-based
*Possesses strong management and financial accounting skills.
*Worked with SME businesses
*Has excellent communication skills
