Location: St. Albans
Salary: £95- £120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: September 2026
Overview
We are recruiting a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics within a secondary school.
Key Responsibilities
*Support Science lessons across KS3-KS5
*Assist in practical experiments and laboratory sessions
*Deliver targeted intervention sessions to small groups and individuals
*Help prepare laboratory equipment and ensure health and safety compliance
*Support teachers in tracking student progress and attainment
Requirements
*A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject
*Strong subject knowledge across scientific disciplines
*Good organisational and communication skills
*Enthusiasm for working with young people in education
*Lab or school experience is desirable but not essential
