Overview
We are looking for an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in English Language and Literature. This role is suitable for graduates aspiring to pursue a career in education.
Key Responsibilities
*Support students in English lessons across KS3-KS5
*Deliver targeted literacy intervention sessions (reading, writing, comprehension)
*Assist teachers with planning, marking support, and classroom activities
*Encourage engagement with literature and creative writing
*Provide 1:1 academic support where required
Requirements
*A degree in English, Literature, or a related discipline
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Passion for education and student development
*Ability to build positive relationships with young people
*Previous school experience is advantageous but not essential
