*SEMH Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs required
*SEMH Teaching Assistant - Experience working within a specialist setting desirable
*SEMH Teaching Assistant - Must be confident with behaviour management and emotional regulation support
*SEMH Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a SEMH Teaching Assistant?
Do you have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour?

The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate emotions, manage behaviour and engage positively with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support strategies, supporting emotional wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a structured and supportive learning environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
The School - SEMH Teaching Assistant
This specialist SEMH provision is located in the London Borough of Southwark and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have experienced barriers to learning and disrupted education.
