Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are exclusively working with a UK-based single family office to appoint a Trust Administrator as part of the build-out of its internal trust and estate function.
This is a highly attractive opportunity to join a multi-generational family office environment, where the successful candidate will work directly across a portfolio of private family structures, rather than servicing external clients.
The role offers broad exposure across trust administration, taxation and accounting, within a technically focused and well-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts and estates
*Prepare trust accounts and assist with income and inheritance tax returns
*Support distributions to beneficiaries and ongoing cash management
*Assist with HMRC reporting and regulatory submissions
*Maintain accurate records, documentation and correspondence
*Liaise with advisers including accountants, lawyers and investment managers
*Support wider family office activities and ongoing structuring work
Skills & Experience:
*Experience in trust administration within a fiduciary services, private client or family office environment
*Exposure to trust accounting and taxation principles
*Understanding of UK trust structures and compliance requirements
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Comfortable working in a hands-on, detail-oriented role
*Professional qualifications (STEP or similar) beneficial but not essential
The Opportunity:
This role offers the opportunity to move into a single family office environment, working directly with family structures rather than a broad client base. The position provides stability, long-term exposure and the chance to develop in a technically strong trust and estate role.
