Southend | Part-time | 30 Hours per week
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make a real impact in a values-driven organisation? I’m looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join the team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR service.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a true generalist HR role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing expert advice and hands-on support across a wide range of HR activities, including:
*Leading on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance & absence)
*Coaching and supporting managers to drive best practice and fair people management
*Monitoring absence trends and supporting wellbeing initiatives
*Supporting change projects including TUPE, restructures and organisational development
*Assisting with recruitment processes and onboarding activities
*Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
*CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
*Strong generalist HR background with ER case management experience
*Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
*Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
*Organised, detail-focused and able to manage a varied workload
*Experience in health & social care (desirable but not essential)
