Full job descriptionWe are seeking a passionate and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Gateshead.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to take a key role in supporting teaching, learning, and pupil progress across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Your Role Will Include:*Leading whole-class learning with confidence and energy
*Delivering creative and targeted intervention programmes
*Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs to succeed
*Helping children build confidence, resilience, and independence
*Working closely with teachers to drive progress across school
You Will Need:*HLTA qualification (essential)
*Experience working in a primary school environment
*A calm, confident and positive approach to behaviour management
*A passion for inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
*The ability to inspire children and build strong relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
