Full job descriptionReed Business Support are looking for a Graduate to join our client’s growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in Journalism, English, Editorial, or Marketing to kick-start a career in bids, proposals, and commercial writing within the construction sector.
If you enjoy writing, storytelling, and translating technical information into clear, engaging content, this could be the perfect role for you.
The RoleAs a Graduate Bid Writer, you will support the creation of high-quality submissions for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITTs). You’ll work closely with experienced Bid Writers and wider teams to produce compelling, client-focused content that helps win new business.
You’ll be involved from initial tender release through to final submission, gaining full exposure to the bid lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting the creation of PQQ and ITT submissions
*Writing clear, engaging and tailored responses to client questions
*Reviewing tender documents to extract key information
*Working with internal teams (e.g. estimating, operations) to gather technical content
*Editing and proofing submissions to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency
*Maintaining bid content libraries, CVs, and case studies
*Assisting with marketing collateral, including LinkedIn posts, website updates and brochures

*An excellent writer with strong attention to detail
