Role Overview
Join the Core Modernisation team modernizing systems. Work within agile scrum teams (4-8 engineers) using 2-week sprints to deliver quality solutions across multiple technology stacks.
Tech Stack
*Frontend: Remix React, JavaScript
*Backend: Java, Spring, .NET
*Data: MongoDB, Oracle
*Tools: RabbitMQ, JSON
Key Responsibilities
*Design and implement test automation solutions from scratch
*Apply TDD/BDD methodologies and risk-based testing
*Support CI/CD pipelines and shift-left quality practices
*Coach team members on quality engineering best practices
*Perform testing across all levels (Unit, System, Integration, NFR)
*Analyse business requirements and create testing strategies
*Manage test data and testing collateral
*Participate in development through pair-programming
Required Skills
*CI/CD pipelines
*Software testing expertise
*Git/GitLab proficiency
*Strong communication and coaching abilities
*Quality-focused mindset
*Stakeholder management
Preferred Skills
Testing tools (JUnit, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber), performance tools (Gatling), security tools (OWASP Zap), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud (AWS), and accessibility testing (WCAG, Wave, Axe).
