Performing Arts Teacher (Drama/Music) Bridgwater Area, Somerset
Full Time | Temp-to-Perm
MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bridgwater area to recruit an inspiring and ambitious Performing Arts Teacher specialising in Drama and/or Music.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a creative and energetic teacher looking to make a real impact within a dynamic and supportive department.
The RoleYou will deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students through creative expression and performance.
The role will involve:
*Delivering engaging Drama and/or Music lessons
*Encouraging confidence, creativity, and collaboration
*Developing students’ performance, technical, and communication skills
*Supporting a vibrant extra-curricular programme (productions, clubs, performances)
*Contributing to a strong and supportive Performing Arts department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Performing Arts (Drama and/or Music) at KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A creative, energetic, and engaging teaching style
* The ability to inspire both students and colleagues
* A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to department development
* A belief that every student can succeed
