Full job descriptionDistinct are supporting a growing business that provides solutions across construction, education, healthcare and commercial sectors in their search for a Finance Business Partner.

This is a commercially focused role supporting financial planning, reporting and analysis across the business. You’ll work closely with operational stakeholders, providing insight that drives decision-making, improves performance and supports future growth.

Key responsibilities include:
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Variance analysis and monthly reporting
*Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
*Identifying risks, trends and opportunities
*Supporting business cases and investment appraisals
*Cost control and margin improvement initiatives
*Process improvement and reporting enhancement
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles and can confidently translate data into meaningful business insight.

We’re looking for someone who:
*Has experience within finance, FP&A, commercial finance or analytical roles.
*Can analyse complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insight.
*Is confident using Excel and financial systems.
*Is studying towards, or qualified in, ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
*Can build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders.
*Has strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and good problem-solving skills.
*Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
