Salary: To £22:00 per hour & 20% shift premium
Location: Copsey Engineering
Working Pattern: Late shift x 4 days (Monday to Thursday)
Reports to: Head of Manufacturing and Engineering

Key Responsibilities: *Set up, program, and operate CNC 5-axis Mills to produce complex precision components.
*Advanced Hypermill Programming
*Analyse blueprints, strong GD&T skills interpreting engineering drawings, and engineering information to determine the best machining processes.
*Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise the machining processes and improve efficiency.
*Conduct routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
*Monitor the quality and accuracy of the finished product and make necessary adjustments to the machines and processes as needed.
*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
*Maintain accurate records of production runs, job setups, and quality control data.
*Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the working area.

Qualifications and Skills:*Mathematics: A*-B
*Advanced Hypermill programming skills
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up, programming, and operating advanced 5-axis Mills.
*Strong technical skills and knowledge of machining processes, and programming languages.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
*Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
*Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to machining and manufacturing processes.

Working Conditions:*This role primarily involves working within a shop floor environment
*Regular interaction with machinery and equipment, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
*May involve occasional lifting of heavy objects.

Continuous Improvement:Support continuous improvement activities across the business.

Compliance and Risk Management:*Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
*Comply with all Company policies, procedures, SOPs, and training requirements.
*Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and working practices.
