Taskmaster Resources is looking for a motivated Shunter driver to join our client based in the Doncaster area.

As a Shunter driver, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our client site is well-maintained and running efficiently.
Your Role Duties:
*To direct and control the movement and positioning of lorries and other machinery on the site
*To use hand signals, radios and other communication devices to relay instructions to drivers and operators
*Ensuring that vehicles and equipment are correctly positioned for loading, unloading and for other operations
*To signal lorries, general organisation of the yard and to move large products
*Communicating effectively with Team Leaders and Management to resolve issues promptly
*Maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues
*Report any incidents or near misses promptly to management
Skills:
*Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills to convey instructions clearly
*Ability to build rapport with team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
*Strong observational skills to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations
*A valid driving licence is preferred for site mobility
*Previous experience as a Banksman or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
Working hours:
Days and Nights on a 2-day on, 2-day off basis
Working hours: 2 Days 06:00 – 18:00 / 2 days off / 2 Days Nights 18:00 - 06:00
Pay rate: £15.62 per hour
