I’m working closely with a warm, community-focused primary school in Preston that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed practitioner who thrives on creating engaging learning experiences and building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Your new role
You’ll take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that supports pupils as they transition through KS1. The school places a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, inclusive practice, and high-quality teaching. You’ll have the freedom to bring your own ideas while benefiting from a collaborative planning culture.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status with experience in KS1 teaching
*A teacher who brings creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing approach
*Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
*Someone who can work collaboratively within a supportive staff team
*A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
