Looking to develop your career as a Paraplanner within a successful and growing financial planning practice?
We’re recruiting for a Paraplanner to join a highly successful and expanding firm in the Chester area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial services professional to work within a supportive, collaborative environment alongside a team of experienced paraplanners and financial advisers.

The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will:
*Provide technical support to Financial Advisers
*Analyse clients’ existing financial portfolios and prepare detailed reviews
*Carry out complex financial calculations, including income tax, CGT, IHT, pension and allowance assessments
*Research and help formulate suitable financial planning recommendations
*Prepare full recommendation reports and supporting documentation
*Liaise with product providers, account managers, and clients
*Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, markets, and regulations
*Support advisers in delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice
Paraplanner Requirements
*Previous experience within an IFA or financial planning practice (essential)
*Strong analytical and numerical ability
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Methodical, professional, and client-focused approach
