About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join a dynamic and multiskilled Wastewater Process Engineering Team based in Brighton, on behalf of a leading UK water company.
You will be responsible for providing technical support in producing design deliverables on wastewater treatment projects and supporting site operations. This includes producing process calculations, control philosophies, process flow diagrams, process and performance specifications, P&IDs, compliance and commissioning plans. You will also lead innovative process solutions that contribute to TOTEX efficiencies.
As part of site operations support, you will provide expertise in improving site performance, support commissioning activities, implement optimisation measures and troubleshoot wastewater treatment plants.
What You’ll Be Doing*Producing process calculations, control philosophies, process flow diagrams, process and performance specifications, P&IDs, compliance and commissioning plans
*Leading innovative process solutions that contribute to TOTEX efficiencies
*Providing expertise to improve site performance, supporting commissioning activities and implementing optimisation measures
*Troubleshooting wastewater treatment plants
*Mentoring junior process engineers
*Analysing data to evaluate the performance of existing assets and develop process solutions
*Staying up to date with industry developments and innovation
About You*MEng/BEng/BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
*Chartered status with a relevant professional institution is desirable
*A demonstrable track record delivering wastewater treatment process design, with a good understanding of operations, optimisation and commissioning
*Proven and demonstrable experience delivering wastewater projects and site operations support for UK water companies
*Around 6 years’ experience within the water industry or a relevant consultancy
