We are seeking an experienced ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician for a 6 month contract.


Key Responsibilities
*Provide ward-based pharmacy support to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
*Support the medicines reconciliation process and maintain accurate patient medication records.
*Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
*Assist with the supply, ordering, and management of medicines on hospital wards.
*Use hospital systems, including Cerner and JAC, to update and maintain patient and medication information.
*Ensure compliance with NHS policies, medicines management procedures, and regulatory standards.
*Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative tasks as required.
*Deliver a high standard of patient-focused care while working in a fast-paced ward environment.

Essential Requirements:
*ACT qualification
*Minimum 2 years’ NHS ward experience
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
*Experience using hospital systems such as Cerner and JAC
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
