Full job descriptionThe Group Financial Controller will lead the Group’s statutory consolidation and reporting processes. This is an initial 6 month contract to ensure accurate and IFRS compliant reporting. I am looking for a candidate with experience of leading the end-to-end consolidation process.
Large Group based in Cambridgeshire. The role is hybrid and you will be required to be in the office at least 1 day a week.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead the end-to-end consolidation process for half-year and year-end
*Review and validate subsidiary submissions, ensuring completeness and accuracy
*Prepare and post consolidation journals, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments
*Perform detailed variance analysis on consolidated results and movement
*Prepare Group and UK statutory financial statements
*Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements
*Act as the primary contact for external auditors, managing audit deliverables and queries
*Ensure strong internal controls over group reporting and consolidation adjustments
*Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation across reporting cycles




Key Skills & Experience
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting
*Proven knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
*Exposure to complex group structures
