REED are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded independent school in Cambridge, who are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional looking to step into a supervisory role within a supportive, high-quality educational environment.
The Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of cleaning staff to ensure the school site is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the cleaning team
*Ensuring all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard
*Monitoring performance and providing training and guidance where required
*Managing cleaning schedules, stock control, and equipment
*Ensuring compliance with health & safety and COSHH regulations
*Supporting with hands-on cleaning duties where necessary
About You
*Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a supervisory or team leader role
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*High attention to detail and commitment to standards
*Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning best practices
*A proactive and reliable approach
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
