RAN Optimisation Specialist - 5G
London or Bristol (Hybrid) | 12 Months | Inside IR35
Our client, a leading telecoms company are looking for an experienced RAN Optimisation Specialist to improve network performance and customer experience across 4G/5G environments.
Responsibilities:
*Analyse UE logs, OSS KPIs, and drive test data to identify performance issues
*Perform parameter and feature optimisation across LTE and 5G networks
*Carry out root cause analysis and implement performance improvements
*Support network trials, validation, and KPI enhancements
*Ensure effective interworking across 4G/5G (NSA/SA)
*Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve network issues
Key Skills:
*Strong experience in RAN optimisation & KPI management (4G/5G)
*Hands-on with TEMS, Actix, Accuver, Wireshark or similar tools
*Experience with Nokia/Ericsson RAN environments
*Good understanding of LTE/5G architecture (VoLTE/VoNR preferred)
*Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
