Full Time | Permanent
12-hour rotating shifts (4-3-3 pattern – days & nights)
Hales Group are recruiting for a skilled and technically minded Production Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Beccles. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team producing quality, sustainable products, with structured pay progression linked to skills development.

About the role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, working closely with the Shift Manager and wider team.
Key responsibilities
*Set up and prepare production runs (including tool and colour changes)
*Operate and monitor machinery to maintain output and efficiency
*Carry out equipment safety checks and complete documentation
*Inspect products against quality standards
*Identify and resolve issues to maintain a zero-defect approach
*Support team performance and production targets
*Maintain high housekeeping standards (6S)
*Follow all health & safety procedures
What we’re looking for
*Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
*Strong mechanical aptitude or engineering mindset
*Attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Reliable and team-focused approach
*Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts
Progression & flexibility
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Production Technician, however candidates with strong transferable mechanical or manufacturing skills will also be considered depending on experience level.
