We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Managers to oversee a programme of education refurbishment projects across Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment and fit-out projects within occupied or live educational environments.
Key Responsibilities*Day-to-day management of site operations, subcontractors, and site logistics.
*Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
*Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintaining health & safety compliance.
*Liaising with clients, school representatives, subcontractors, and project teams.
*Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, and progress reporting.
*Coordinating trades and resolving site issues efficiently to maintain project momentum.
Essential Requirements*SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
*CSCS Card
*First Aid at Work Certificate
*Enhanced DBS Certificate (current and valid)
*Proven experience managing refurbishment projects within education or public sector environments.
*Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
