Description
*Manage the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
*Lead balance sheet reconciliations, resolving queries and ensuring full transparency of financial positions
*Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including allocation and reconciliation of key accounts
*Oversee intercompany and related party reconciliations, ensuring balances are reviewed and confirmed monthly
*Produce management information and ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making
*Partner with internal stakeholders, group finance, and auditors, supporting audit and compliance requirements
*Drive process improvements and system optimisation, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and controls
*Maintain accurate records across financial systems and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies
Profile
*Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong finance and accounting experience
*Proven experience in month-end close, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
*Strong Excel and systems skills, with the ability to manage data across multiple platforms
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities
*Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business
