About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to join our busy patient services team in Woking. This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing appointments, handling telephone enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of our clinical operations.
The successful candidate will be confident communicating with patients, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to quickly learn and utilise our patient management system (PIMMS), which is a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities*Admitting and registering patients accurately onto our system.
*Answering incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
*Booking, amending, and cancelling patient appointments.
*Managing patient records and ensuring information is up to date.
*Responding to patient enquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
*Liaising with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient journeys.
*Using the PIMMS patient management system daily to manage appointments and patient information.
*Completing general administrative tasks as required.
Working HoursCandidates must be flexible and willing to work varying shifts between Monday and Saturday, including:
*06:30am – 2:00pm
*12:00pm – 8:00pm
Shift patterns will vary based on business requirements.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous administration, reception, customer service, or healthcare administration experience.
*Excellent communication and telephone skills.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*The ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
*Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
*The ability to quickly pick up and become proficient in PIMMS.
*A flexible and positive approach to work.
*Reliability and a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
