Full job descriptionA reputable, growing business in Petersfield, is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Coordinator on an interim basis. What will the Payroll Coordinator role involve?
*Overseeing the precision of monthly payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
*Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing clear guidance and maintaining confidentiality
*Managing pension schemes, auto-enrolment, and statutory deductions in line with legislation
*Assisting with onboarding, employee records management, and offboarding procedures
*Supporting payroll and HR process improvements while ensuring GDPR compliance
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Coordinator vacancy:
*Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally in an SME or multi-site environment, with solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation
*Familiarity with pension administration, auto-enrolment, and statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP, etc.)
*Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to handle sensitive information with discretion
*Proficient in payroll and HR systems, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy
*Proactive and dependable, with a problem-solving approach to payroll challenges
