Junior Data Engineer FTC (Azure)
up to £45,000 + Benefits
Remote (UK - occasional office visits)This is a great opportunity to join a high-growth organisation where you can take ownership of building and supporting modern data pipelines within a rapidly evolving data platform team.THE COMPANY:This is within the legal industry and is with a client who are significantly investing in its data and technology function, creating exciting opportunities for engineers looking to grow in a forward-thinking environment.THE ROLE:You will take ownership of supporting and developing data pipelines within a modern Azure Databricks Lakehouse environment. Working closely with engineering teams, you’ll contribute to building scalable, high-quality data solutions while developing your technical skillset.Key responsibilities include:*Building and maintaining robust data pipelines
*Supporting CI/CD implementation and engineering best practices
*Deploying and managing code across established development processes
*Contributing to data engineering and data modelling activities
*Applying DevOps principles throughout the engineering lifecycle
*Collaborating across squads and upskilling within the Databricks ecosystem
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:You will bring strong capability in:*Python development
*Databricks
*Azure
*PySpark
*Understanding of data engineering principles
*A proactive, growth-mindset approach with strong collaboration skills
