Full job descriptionWe’re working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Telford and Shrewsbury that are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join them as soon as possible.
Whether you’re considering a future career in teaching, looking to build your classroom experience, or simply enjoy working with young people, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting while making a real difference to students’ learning.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout the school day.
What you’ll be doing:
*Supervising pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task
*Creating a positive and productive learning environment
*Supporting schools with day-to-day and longer-term cover needs
*Building positive relationships with students and staff

We’re looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with young people, either in schools or similar settings
