Full job descriptionFULL-TIME SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – PRIMARY SCHOOL (ECCLES, SALFORD)
Start Date: September for Full Academic Year
A primary school in Eccles, Salford is seeking to appoint a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs both on a 1:1 basis and within a small, dedicated SEN unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within a supportive environment.
The role will involve working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to deliver tailored support, adapting approaches to meet individual needs, and promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
The school is looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. Previous experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate with the right attitude and commitment.
