The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students with a range of additional needs to thrive academically and personally. You will support both 1:1 and small group learning, collaborate with teaching staff to deliver tailored educational support, and encourage learners to reach their potential across all aspects of the college day.
Responsibilities*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to foster engagement and learning.
*Assisting teachers in delivering differentiated, meaningful lessons.
*Offering consistent encouragement and emotional support in and out of the classroom.
*Helping to promote independence and positive communication among learners.
Skills and Experience*Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.
*Level 3 or Level 4 qualification (preferred).
*Current Child or Adult DBS—or willingness to obtain one.
*Ability to provide strong references covering the last 24 months.
*Willingness to complete all compliance requirements promptly.
