£168 - £262 per day (dependent on experience)
Veritas Education are working with a vibrant, inclusive 11-16 secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong commitment to high standards, student achievement, and staff development. The school benefits from an excellent and highly supportive leadership team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment where both staff and students thrive.
The Role:
*Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*Plan, prepare and assess work in line with national curriculum expectations
*Create a stimulating learning environment that supports all learners
*Maintain strong classroom management and uphold high behavioural standards
*Contribute to the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
*Strong behaviour management skills
*A passion for Geography and inspiring young people
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student progress
*DBS on the update service (although we can support if required)
