Full job descriptionSales Account Manager – Media & Advertising SalesDovetail Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established local business in Ferndown that is looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager to join their small and friendly team.
Having met the client personally, what stands out is their passion for both their business and the local community. They are now looking for someone who enjoys sales, account management, and building lasting relationships to support the next stage of the company’s growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team with an established client base already in place, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to earn commission from day one. You’ll also have the support of a dedicated Pre-Press Administrator, allowing you to focus on developing client relationships and growing accounts.
Whether you have experience in media sales, advertising sales, account management, business development, or a similar sales role, full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed.
The Benefits*Salary of £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
*Realistic OTE of £45,000 - £50,000+ with uncapped commission
*Established client base with immediate earning potential
*Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 4.30pm
*Early finish every Friday at 4.00pm

The RoleAs a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing advertisers while identifying opportunities to grow revenue through advertising, sponsorship, and digital marketing solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
*Selling advertising space within established local magazines and programmes
*Promoting digital advertising and social media marketing solutions
*Creating sponsorship opportunities that provide value for clients
*Managing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts
*Building strong relationships with both new and existing advertisers
*Identifying opportunities for account growth and new business development
*Working closely with clients to understand their advertising requirements
*Contributing to the continued success and growth of the business
About YouWe’re keen to hear from candidates who have:
*Previous experience within sales, account management, business development, advertising sales, media sales, or a similar customer-facing role
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive and organised approach to work
*The ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn
*An interest in supporting local businesses and the Dorset community
*An understanding of print and digital advertising would be beneficial but is not essential
