Full job descriptionOur client is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their busy Supply Chain team in Wakefield. This is a varied role where you’ll support international shipments, coordinate deliveries, liaise with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders, and help ensure products reach customers on time.
What you’ll be doing:
*Coordinating import shipments from overseas suppliers and factories
*Managing shipping documentation and shipment records
*Liaising with freight forwarders and internal departments
*Processing invoices, payments, and customer dispatches
*Booking deliveries and updating internal systems
*Supporting stock control and year-end stock takes
What we’re looking for:
*Strong Excel skills
*Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
