Full job descriptionLe Club Petit Pierrot, French language school for children and established since 1993 is looking for a French language teacherfor young children. They offer sessions for children from 6 months to 8 years old in their centres, as well as classes in nurseries and primary schools and private tuition. Their unique and fun devised immersion programme provides children with the opportunity to learn French effortlessly and develop a cultural awareness from a young age.
The role of the French language teacher is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about education and interested in language learning. The successful candidate must be a native French speaking teacher.You will join a dedicated team who thrive on collaboration and shared success. A passion for active learning and for fostering a love of learning are at the heart of what they do, they’d love to hear from you if you share these values.
ROLE of the French language teacher:
*Preparing lessons following a devised programme (all resources provided)
*Participating in meetings with peers and management
*Teaching small groups of children in centres
*Teaching the programme in Nurseries and Primary schools
*Teaching one to one session
*Communicating with parents
*Opportunity to participate in Cultural Events
PROFILE:
*Qualified teacher of French as a Foreign Language
Or Relevant degree with experience working with children
Or Early Years practitioners
Or Montessori qualified
*Native French speaker or French native level
*Ability to adapt to different environment
*Strong communication skills
*Good level of English to communicate
*Must have the right to work in the UK: a Settle/Pre-settled status or other UK Visa types
SALARY & BENEFITS:
£30849 per annum for 35 hours per week including preparation, meetings and travelling time.
The timetable is fixed throughout the academic year, with set venues and days from the outset.
This is a PAYE position with a contract:
*Paid travel expenses
*Paid travelling time
*8 weeks holiday per year
*Holiday pay
*Pension Plan
*In-house training provided.
*Further training provided such as First Aid / Safeguarding / Diversity & Inclusion and more
*DBS compulsory and paid by the company
*EAP Wellbeing programme
