A welcoming and supportive primary school in St. Albans is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities*Providing classroom support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
*Working with individual pupils and small groups
*Supporting literacy, numeracy, and classroom activities
*Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
*Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Teaching Assistant We’re Looking For*A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual
*Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A proactive and positive approach to supporting learning
