A welcoming two form-entry primary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils in KS1 with a range of additional needs, including Global Developmental Delay, Down syndrome, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

This is a long-term opportunity starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside an experienced team, supporting two KS1 pupils on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children access learning, develop social skills, and achieve their individual targets in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

*Previous experience working with children is desirable
*Experience supporting SEN, particularly ASD, Down syndrome, or Global Developmental Delay, would be advantageous
*A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
