Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team. This is a key role responsible for the receipt, inspection, and accurate processing of inbound goods to ensure stock is handled efficiently and meets company standards.


This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, or goods-in experience who is looking to develop within a growing organisation.


Warehouse Operative responsibilities:
*Receiving and booking in deliveries using warehouse systems
*Unloading goods safely and efficiently (manual handling required)
*Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
*Inspecting goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues
*Accurately labelling and storing stock in designated locations
*Updating stock systems and maintaining accurate inventory records
*Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
*Following all health & safety procedures at all times


Skills & experience required:


*Previous experience as a warehouse operative / goods in / inbound operative (preferred but not essential)
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Basic IT or warehouse management system knowledge
*Strong team player with a positive attitude
*Physically fit and able to handle manual work
*Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
