Location: South East London
Salary: Up to £33,000
40 Hours Per Week - Permanent
Shifts: 10:00pm - 8:00am on a rota basis

We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a children’s residential home in South East London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people during the night, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and emotional support within a nurturing residential environment.
The Role
*Providing overnight support to children and young people
*Promoting a safe, calm and secure home environment
*Completing welfare checks and recording observations
*Maintaining accurate records and handovers
*Supporting safeguarding and child protection procedures
*Administering medication where required
*Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
*Working closely with the wider residential care team
About You
*Experience working with children and young people is desirable
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*Reliable, compassionate and resilient
*Strong communication and recording skills
*Ability to work independently during night shifts
