Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
The Opportunity
Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established business in Norwich in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced commercial environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting duties while supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding and posting
*Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
*Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control activities
*Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions
*Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
*Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as required
*Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
*Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You
*Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Good understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
*Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
*Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
*Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
*AAT qualified or studying (desirable but not essential)
