My client is looking for a proactive, driven individual who has a strong transactional finance foundation, who is looking for long term progression in to month end management accounts. This role is perfect for an Assistant Accountant looking to grow their skillset in a progressive business, or for a progressive Accounts Assistant with a positive attitude wanting to gain more month end exposure. Description
*Manage end to end Accounts Payable processes
*Processing invoices, weekly payment runs, receipts, supplier notes
*Manage end to end Accounts Receivable processes
*Assist in preparing monthly management accounts; accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
*Support the reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts.
*Support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights to the management team.
*Work closely with other departments providing finance support
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and projects.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
*Have gained relevant experience in similar Assistant Accountant, or progressive Accounts Assistant role
*Finance and Accounting graduates preferred but not essential
*Have an aspiration to study ACCA or CIMA
*A keen attention to detail and analytical skills.
*A passion for continuous improvement and personal development
*A proactive attitude towards learning
*Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £37,000 GBP.
*Hybrid Working - 3 days onsite, 2 days at home
*Potential study support in ACCA, CIMA
*Open to 4 day/30 hour working options as well as full time
