Key Roles & Responsibilities*Assist the classroom teacher in executing daily lesson activities and maintaining focus.
*Lead tailored reading, phonics, and writing interventions for groups of varied abilities.
*Provide empathetic 1:1 support for students with emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties (SEND).
*Organise classroom equipment, distribute learning resources, and manage classroom displays.
*Ensure a safe environment during morning drop-offs, lunch breaks, and outdoor play.
*Communicate pupil achievements and any behavioural notes clearly to the lead teacher.
Requirements for the Role*Practical experience working alongside young children (school, nursery, coaching, or volunteering).
*Good communication skills and a confident command of spoken and written English and Maths.
*A patient, warm, and proactive demeanour with a willingness to learn on the job.
*An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
*Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary school team.
