We are in search of Civil Litigation Solicitor to join the firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services to individuals and businesses across the West Midlands and nationwide. What you’ll be doing:

*Managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters;

*Handling disputes including commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters, building disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, and general litigation;

*Taking client instructions and advising on funding options;

*Dealing with client queries by phone and in person;

*Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and third parties;

*Undertaking pre-action litigation;

*Drafting and preparing proceedings, pleadings, schedules of loss, witness statements, and other court documents;

*Preparing and advising on applications and related documentation;

*Contributing to business development and maintaining the firm’s high professional standards.




RequirementsWhat we’re looking for:

*UK-qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE;

*Strong experience in civil litigation;

*Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision;

*Good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules;

*Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills;

*Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills;

*Advocacy and contentious probate experience would be an advantage.
