Are you a creative and hands-on Design Engineer looking to take ownership of projects from concept through to production?
We are seeking a Design & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting the design, development and testing of innovative products. This is a varied role offering involvement across the full product lifecycle, from initial concepts and prototyping through to manufacturing and final approval.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage design projects from concept to completion
*Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
*Develop prototypes and support product testing activities
*Produce technical documentation, bills of materials and design records
*Provide technical support to production, sales and purchasing teams
*Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
*Visit customer sites when required to gather project information
About You
*Previous experience in a Design Engineer, Development Engineer or Product Design role
*Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
*Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
