Leigh - Upper Key Stage 2 Role
A primary school in Leigh is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to take on a full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
This role would suit a teacher who is confident leading a Year 6 class, preparing pupils for SATs, and supporting them through their final year of primary education.
Role Overview:
*Lead a Year 6 class, delivering targeted and effective lessons
*Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments
*Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional readiness for secondary school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Hold QTS and have experience teaching in Upper KS2, particularly Year 6
*Have a strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment requirements
*Be able to motivate and challenge pupils of varying abilities
*Demonstrate resilience, organisation, and strong leadership in the classroom
